Meet the team
Our team is comprised of fully insured, licensed and dedicated team members. We are not handymen, we are craftsmen. We use the best subcontractors in the area. Designers, Architects, Plumbers, Electricians and HVAC technicians are key members of the team. We are drug free, smoke free, explicit language free and care about the health and safety of your home as much as you do.
Joel
Having first been paid to enhance a home in 2008 and founding the company in 2010, Joel has been the head of Sullivan Interior Finishing ever since. Originally from Clarence, Joel now resides in Kenmore with his wife and two sons. He loves coaching sports for his boys and going on dates with his wife. A carpenter at heart, he loves framing as it feels like a sport and shapes the space from the ground up. Always on the clock, Joel’s tireless efforts are highlighted with every project.
Derek
From the City of Tonawanda, Derek loves dogs and cats and has been a member of the team for over eight years. The longest standing employee at SIF, he excels in his role as foreman every day on our jobsites. He loves cats and dogs, snowboarding, cooking and has played hockey since he was 11 years old. He is also a self-proclaimed gifted dancer with a promising future in the art of dance. Specializing in plumbing and electrical, his experience and calm demeanor are invaluable to the team.
Gideon
Originally from Utah, Gideon enjoys playing video games, riding longboards and exploring the world around him. Having been part of the team for over three years, he has transformed into a productive and enthusiastic member of the team. He is detail oriented and enjoys all aspects of remodeling. Specializing in tile, plumbing and electrical helps him contribute to the function and look of the final product. He is passionate about teaching and learning and looks forward to his future on the team.
Jeremiah
Our youngest team member, Jeremiah brings positivity and smiles wherever he goes. He loves demo day and for the last year and a half, has learned an incredible amount along the way. He loves listening to music on site and helping others whenever possible. Outside of work, Jeremiah is involved in youth groups and enjoys spending time with his siblings. He also loves dogs, sports and hitting the gym. His good attitude and willingness to learn has turned potential into productivity.
Mike
Our newest member at SIF, Mike has been on the team for one year. Having combined prior experience with new opportunity, Mike has become a valuable member of the team. He is a proud South Buffalonian with a passion for music, family and friends. Specializing in tile and trim work, he enjoys all aspects of remodeling homes. His favorite projects are whole home remodels as he enjoys seeing the scale and effort required. He is always ready to tackle any task and enjoys coming to work daily.
